Webcasts from syracuse

SND will be doing a video cast from the World's Best Designed and creative competition judging. Here's more info from Marshall Matlock in Syracuse:

We are pleased to announce that we will have "live" coverage of both the World's Best competition and the general judging beginning Saturday, Feb. 11.

This is the first time we've been allowed behind closed doors of the World's Best judging. We'll do live video streaming from the judging room beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 and continue to cover that judging in video, pictures and text.

We will not include sound because all discussions are confidential, but you'll see what's going on in the room while the camera it turned on. We'll turn off the camera the last day while the winners are selected but, who knows, you may see your publication being evaluated. Hopefully we can let the viewers know how we do the WB judging.

We'll have slide shows of the WB judging from the time judges arrive in Syracuse Feb. 9 & 10. We'll continue to cover the five judges at work and, perhaps, play until the last day of the judging -- Tuesday, Feb. 14. Access the coverage by going to http://www.snd.org/ or http://www.su-snd.org/pages/17/index.htm,
the SU-SND affiliate's site.

We'll begin covering the general judging starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 18. That coverage can be accessed at SND's Web site at http://www.snd.org.

Good luck to everyone!
